Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton have had an incredible impact across the southeast, along Florida’s West Coast, and especially in parts of the Tampa Bay area. Our thoughts are with those affected by the devastation and facing unimaginable losses. Despite this devastating storm, we are fortunate enough to report that both the Westshore Yacht Club, Bay Club and Marina fared well and are back to normal operations just a couple of days after the storm. Despite the intensity of these storms, the team at Coastal Construction ensured AQUA’s construction site remained unharmed and steadfast, a true testament to their well-designed infrastructure and preparedness.

• Over 590 concrete cast-in-place piling – approach aided by wind-tunnel engineering and testing

• Clusters of piling combined with large arrays of super-reinforced concrete bases – designed to resist the strongest of winds.

• Ground level lobby is above the minimum base flood elevation. Residences are two full stories above that minimum.

• Every exterior wall is composed of reinforced concrete masonry rigidly connected to the concrete structural frame.

• Exterior glass windows and doors are designed for maximum hurricane and impact protection.

• State-of-the-art fire protection systems and emergency power provisions according to the Florida building code.
