Smith & Associates Real Estate Foundation | 2023-2024
Since its inception over fifty years ago, Smith & Associates Real Estate has been committed to its mission of positively impacting the Tampa Bay community. The organization is a recognized leader in giving time and resources to causes and organizations that the community and their employees find meaningful. To further formalize their dedication to contributing to non-profits, they launched the Smith & Associates Real Estate Foundation in the Spring of 2021. Beginning on March 1, qualified non-profits can apply online for a grant from the Foundation.
To apply for a grant from the Smith & Associates Real Estate Foundation, the organization must:

Be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code

Be based in or serving Hillsborough and/or Pinellas counties

Exhibit strong management and sound leadership

File an IRS form 990 from 2018 or later

Timeline:

March 1, 2023: Application opens

March 31, 2023: Last day to submit application (closes at 11:59pm)

May 9, 2023: All applicants notified of outcome

May 12, 2023: Grant funds disbursed to recipients
Smith and Associates’ community giving program is designed to build strong partnerships with non-profit organizations, civic organizations, and other local organizations that are striving to make a difference, focusing on three elements: Housing, Community Vibrancy, and Positive Education/Mental Well-Being. For each element, funding priority will be given to at-risk, vulnerable, and special needs populations
