Local Roots and Early Passion
Wes Sargent is a Pinellas County native who grew up in Palm Harbor and developed an early passion for athletics and leadership. A former varsity baseball standout, he continued his career at Florida Gulf Coast University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in communication with a focus in public relations and a minor in business management.
Coaching Success and Leadership
After two seasons coaching at Florida Atlantic University, he returned to FGCU as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator, contributing to the program’s most successful season in school history, including a record 43 wins and its first NCAA Tournament appearance.
Professional Career in Scouting
Wes later coached in the Cape Cod League before beginning his professional scouting career with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2017, where he oversaw Central and North Florida and contributed to multiple draft Selections & three World Series Championships.
Transition to Real Estate
After a successful career as a MLB scout, Wes brings a sharp eye for detail, strong relationship-building skills, and confident decision-making to real estate. Years of evaluating talent in high-pressure environments taught him to spot what others miss and negotiate with clarity. Now, he uses that same discipline and passion to guide clients with honesty, focus, and results.
