Combining her extensive background in real estate and her love for the Tampa Bay area, Katie Glaser utilizes all of her resources to provide the best service and experience for each of her clients.
Her family has been in the local real estate business for over 50 years, which is where she obtained her passion for helping Tampa Bay natives and newcomers find the home that best suits their needs and lifestyle. Katie has worked in many different aspects in real estate. From marketing, office management, title services, and ecommerce, Katie has a solid background to successfully manage a real estate transaction. Katie continually seeks to grow in her knowledge of the family business and has partnered alongside Stephen Gay & Ed Gunning in the Gay Glaser Gunning Group as top Tampa Bay realtors. Stephen and Katie were recognized as the top team in 2023 with over $95 million in sales and in 2024 were the 2nd top sales team. The Gay Glaser Gunning Group also holds the record for the highest sale in the Tampa Bay market.
Katie specializes in the South Tampa market where she was born and raised. Her mother’s family is a 3rd generation native of Tampa. Katie attended and graduated from Plant High School in South Tampa, which continues to be one of the top nationally ranked public schools. After attending the University of Florida and University of Massachusetts - Boston, Katie devoted her teaching techniques in the Boston Public School System.
Her vast experience in real estate gives her an ability to provide a smooth transaction from the beginning to the closing table. Given her background, she not only loves working with people but also has a strong ability to listen and educate both buyers and sellers.
Her contributions to the local community include volunteer work through Smith & Associates Real Estate with the American Heart Association, The Florida Orchestra, American Stage, and other local benefactors, as well as acting as Board Member of Cove Behavioral Health, Committee Chair of Knight of Thieves, and Board Member of Horizon. Katie oversees the Glaser Family Foundation and is a true champion in helping to elevate our community and its people.
In 2020, Katie was named top 10 under 40 in the Tampa Bay area and recognized by the Vanguard Awards for Women on Real Estate as ‘Diamond in the Rough.’ In 2023 and 2024, she was named by Tampa Magazine as one of the "Best of the City" winners.
