About Cynthia

Cynthia's love affair with Real Estate began after teaching for thirteen years in Columbia, S.C., when she moved to St. Petersburg's Historic Old N.E. Neighborhood, purchased her first home and restored it to its original pristine condition. Friends soon began renovating other properties and the expertise she developed led her to help others with restoration projects.

She then earned her real estate license so she could introduce others the delights of St. Petersburg. With a thriving cultural scene and beautiful beaches, St. Petersburg offers a lifestyle few places can match. She specialized in historic and luxury homes, condos and waterfront properties in the nearby downtown waterfront as the areas underwent gentrification. As a long time resident, she developed considerable expertise in all facets of home ownership and resources that will provide invaluable to any buyer or seller.

Cynthia had long dreamed of returning to the Great Smoky Mountains of N.C. where she graduated from Appalachian State in Boone, N.C. with a Masters Degree in Education. She purchased property in Maggie Valley, N.C. and her love of the place proved contagious.

Clients in St. Petersburg started coming to her for advice about mountain property as the perfect investment opportunity or relocating to the area. Obtaining a N.C. license seemed the perfectly natural thing to do. This enables Cynthia to find them an investment property in N.C. or to sell their home here and relocate to N.C.

She feels she has found the two most perfect places on earth - St. Petersburg, one of the most splendid waterfront cities on Florida's coast with its historical districts and downtown waterfront; North Carolina for its waterfalls, open mountain views, and unspoiled land.

Cynthia was recently recognized by Smith and Associates with the Mary Smith Conover Award. This honor is bestowed annually by the company to the individual associate who demonstrates the highest level of service to buyers, sellers and industry peers. Service is gauged by positive feedback from customers, election by peers and recognition form service and charitable organizations. Cynthia has a long history of involvement in the Old Northeast, particularly through her work organizing activities for the neighborhood, gifts for Toys for Tots and activities for Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

Cynthia tries to get to know every client, what they like, what they need, then brings her experiences in St. Petersburg and in the mountains of North Carolina to find them just the right house, a house they fall in love with. It's the best part of her job, the part that brings her the most satisfaction. She is just passionate about that. And it's helped her build the long-term relationships that have helped her build her business.

What separates Cynthia from other agents is her continued commitment to both her clients and to the community in which she lives by giving back to her community in various volunteer projects.
