Herbach’s Rattan Furniture

Phil and Cindy are celebrating more than 40 years of creating the finest rattan furniture, as well as repairing and refinishing your rattan furniture and making cushion covers. Rattan is a strange, vine-like palm tree that grows to heights of several hundred feet in the Philippine jungles.  It is hand-cut, floated down rivers, straightened, dried, trimmed, and shaved.  The bark is used for the binding cane. At Herbach's, only top quality materials are used in the manufacture and assembly.  All nails are galvanized, and all the screws are zinc plated to retard rust.  The hardwood frames are braced, all holes are sealed or plugged and the final finish is a high-quality polyurethane varnish for years and years of durability.
